For over 60 years, the Aspen Institute has been the nation’s premier gathering place for leaders from around the globe and across many disciplines to engage in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times.
Across seven days of programming, the Aspen Ideas Festival engages attendees in deep and inquisitive discussion of the ideas and issues that both shape our lives and challenge our times. Some 350 presenters, 200 sessions, and 3,000 attendees comprise the annual Festival, launched in 2005, on the Aspen Institute’s campus in Aspen, Colorado.
After much deliberation, The Aspen Institute and The Atlantic have made the difficult decision to cancel the Aspen Ideas Festival 2020. We choose to prioritize health and safety, and signal our respect for those struggling with the consequences of the COVID19 outbreak. We remain committed to elevating ideas and bringing our audiences thought-provoking ideas and conversation with today’s big thinkers and innovative doers. Stay tuned for details on Aspen Ideas 2021.
